The villages of Nydri, Vasiliki and Ligia are great for water sports. From the village of Nydri, you can catch a boat to many little islands around Lefkada. The most familiar daily cruises are to Meganisi and the private islet of Skorpios. The private island once belonged to the famous Greek businessman Aristotle Onassis and it’s a great place with a lush green backdrop and crystal-clear waters.
